The world is full of beautiful places where you can enjoy a hot air balloon flight. But ballooning in the Loire Valley, France, in the cradle of aviation, is one of the ten things that must be tested in this wonderful country.

During the flight of a balloon you will see the most famous and beautiful places and castles in France: Amboise, Azay-le-Rideau, Chaumont sur Loire, Chenonceaux, Chinon, Richelieu… All these places are inseparable from the history of France and its kings; all these places will take you to the times of Leonardo da Vinci and Genoa D’Ark, reminding of the spirit of medieval and Renaissance Europe…

The balloon will be piloted by a pilot from Lithuania who will be your guide, so not only will you be able to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Loire Valley, but also listen to it‘s history in your native language.

Air balloon flights are organized daily from March to October, as soon as weather conditions permit.

A balloon flight usually starts early in the morning (around 6.00 to 09.00) and in the evening (around 17.00 to 20.00). The flight takes about 1 hour, but the whole process takes about 3-4 hours.

After the flight, everyone who has flown for the first time is “baptized” according to the old traditions of the pilots, you are given honorable titles and “baptism” names, as well as certificates of the first flight. The impressions of the flight are “reinforced” with sparkling wine from the Loire region and local snacks. After this solemn ceremony, the pilot and team take everyone to the take-off point.
